Just a few of the modalities we will explore:
Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-ke), often translated as “universal life force energy” or “spiritually guided life force energy”, is described as an all-enveloping energy of body, soul and spirit that taps into the body’s own healing ability to promote deep relaxation, help the body rid itself of accumulated toxins, and loosen the blocked energies throughout the chakras, the body’s crucial energy centers. Reiki is unique in healing systems because it does not use the healer’s energy, and the symbols are a unique connection to the higher power. Reiki’s standardized techniques of hand placements over one’s clothing help restore and balance the natural life force energy within the body. It is holistic, natural, no-touch energy healing system that affects all levels: body, mind and spirit.
Reiki promotes healing at a mental/emotional level often blocked by past traumas. It allows your body to release the energy it needs to sustain you in your desired endeavors. After receiving this effective energy treatment, a person leaves with a sense of physical, psychological and spiritual well-being.
Emotional Freedom Technique
Filomena was certified through Gary Craig’s program, the original founder of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) process in 1995. An EFT practitioner uses the effective tapping method to unblock those meridians that have stored years of pain and trauma from everything negative that has happened in your life. It often works where nothing else will.
Feng Shui
Feng shui (pronounced [fɤ́ŋ ʂwèi] is a Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment. The term feng shui literally translates as “wind-water” in English. Feng shui is one of the Five Arts of Chinese Metaphysics, classified as physiognomy (observation of appearances through formulas and calculations). The feng shui practice discusses architecture in metaphoric terms of “invisible forces” that bind the universe, earth, and humanity together, known as qi or Chi.
Historically, feng shui was widely used to orient buildings—often spiritually significant structures such as tombs, but also dwellings and other structures—in an auspicious manner. Depending on the particular style of feng shui being used, an auspicious site could be determined by reference to local features such as bodies of water, stars, or a compass.
